| Chaos is the key word. THIS DISORDER is cyclic performing practice that consists of a series of performing sessions. Its structure is rather fused and it is presented both onstage [studio] and online [live on Internet]. We focus the formation of disorder in the series of improvisation sessions and accordingly diverse elements of a performance. | |
| Our improvisation strategy is navigated by 7 main paragraphs of Wittgenstein's text: 'Tractatus logico-philosophicus'. Each new series is rehearsed for 2 weeks and performed for 1 week by 3 same host-performers plus 3 different guest-performers. By their entry, new guest-performers [both professionals and amateurs] break freshly formed structures of improvisation. | |
| In these series of sessions, we outline the relation of an individual towards the totality that transcends the sense of the realization of his/her subjectivity. On the other side, we question the principles of establishing disorder creating the illusion that the spectator is part of it as well. | |
| The project will include diverse participants from number of different backgrounds both groups and individuals. Each session will be rounded with talk - debate with spectators present both onstage and online. | |
| The
entire work is a sort of location performance, starting in our home studio
UNITSPACE. Final series will be performed in theatre or public space and will be available for touring theatres and site-specific locations. |
|
| The final cycle unifies the guest-performers and their experiences of the previous 6 series. 7th series is based on 7th Wittgenstein's proposition: 'Whereof one can not speak, thereof one must be silent.' and performed by 21 performer as a live collaborative act and it completes our 'THIS DISORDER' practice. The recordings of previous sessions will be used to create the set for the final version. The theme will be relation of absence and presence. | |
| For the whole project we will create a special web-site. | |
