Within creation of CONCORDE [THIS DISASTER] we take a new step in our examination of issues of contemporary identity.

The point of departure is a video installation repeating the image of magnificent plane 'CONCORDE' bursting in flames and its crash site.

We approach this particular image of 'Concorde' disaster and death of its 109 passengers plus 4 people on the ground as an over-riding metaphor without coherent allegorical pattern.

Our performance focuses an unpleasant subject: 'performativity of catastrophe and death': 'How does the individual apprehend and interpretate 'death' through personal experience and collective history?'
The performance itself doesn't come into view as a pure genre, but the performers pilot their audience into a 'performing session' consisting of personal tales and series of 'small' catastrophes, incidents and surprises created onstage.
The working process deals with the feeling of despair and panic in individuals and collective minds. We develop short tales revealing unpleasant corners of our experiences: personal fears, accidents, catastrophes, failures, etc.
The crew of CONCORDE consists of 6 performers.
