WILD WITH LOVE treats visual, textual and physical elements as equal. Tamara Huilmand portrays Medea in her extraordinary drawings that are projected throughout the performance, but as well in the words and her body. The spoken words were developed by young Croatian writer, Ivana Sajko, parallel to the rehearsals and later on combined with texts of Euripides and Heiner Muller.
WILD WITH LOVE is a solo performance by Tamara Huilmand based on the myth of children-murderer Medea. The performance approaches Medea as an archetype and focuses on her inner state. It starts at the point where Euripides’ tragedy ends, that is after she killed both her children.

WILD WITH LOVE was developed as work-in-progress in collaboration with diverse artists. The result is an intense, energetic and personal movement performance that takes place in no man’s land – an empty stage where the only sets are the projections of Tamara’s drawings.

WILD WITH LOVE is a personal interpretation of a female performer about loneliness, rage, sorrow and helplessness. The portrayed Medea is wild with love and hate and filled with fertility and desire for death.
